Preserving Heritage project will combine achievements of cultural and natural heritage educational/awareness focused projects (ER8, ER52, ER164) in Setoland and larger Peipsiland and improves cooperation of local communities in heritage protection and promotion.
Our new capitalisation project helps to strengthen heritage specialists (from schools, museums, cultural clubs, NGOs) cooperation between larger Peipsi- and Setoland but also with centers from historic Mulgimaa and Kihnu in promoting heritage protection and awareness. Besides specialists, another important target group is young generation in Peipsi- and Setoland communities while we work to increase their contacts and feeling of ownership to their heritage.
ER187 Preserving Heritage project is co-fianced by Estonian EU external border programme in amount of 65618,81 euro. Project total budget is 72909,79 euro.
