Project aim: To develop the FinBaltic joint cross-border online platform and public service, which uses the latest technology such as 360° videos, drones, and virtual reality for presenting the relevant nature and cultures sites to the youth, citizens, and tourists. As a public service, it also provides informational materials, routes and excursions targeted especially for youth in schools as well as assistance in finding the sites. In addition, the platform allows location-based communication between users and the organizers of the sites as a public service. The digital service and the materials are developed cross-nationally combining the know-how of partners in three countries. The novel aspects of the platform include the utilization of latest technologies, the development of new materials, routes, and excursions for schools, new guidance techniques and communication channels, as well as the innovative project events and the new collaboration established.
