Our Women entrepreneurship projects in Eastern Partnership countries (Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Aremnia rural areas) have empowered women to become active contributors to the economy, breaking down traditional gender barriers and fostering gender equality.
In the EaP region, where economies are transitioning and challenges such as inequality and limited access to resources persist, the growth of social and women entrepreneurship is particularly significant.
Recent imlemented projects:
Agricultural entrepreneurship trainings in Armenia, for Artsakh refugees (2024). The project empowerms of internally displaced persons from Nagarno Karabakh region , so that they improve practical skills and knowledge to work in agriculture and start their own business.
The training groups are divided between 3 topics: beekeeping, poultry farming/egg production; cultivation of berries/herbs,
Social entrepreneurship, organic agriculture support in Kakheti, Georgia , in cooperation with TEMI community, Georgia (2020-2022). Project supported sustainable agriculture and the cultivation of heritage plants together wiht charitabel union TEMI, which offers living as well as training and work opportunities for people with special needs.Supporting social integration and women entrepreneurship of ethnic minorities, refugees and IDPs in Pankisi valley, Georgia (2020-2021). we organised for minority women business development courses and min-grants were given to the best business ideas.
Promoting women entrepreneurship in Belarus rural areas (2019-2021). We organised business development courses , min-grants ad rural women business forum in Naroch area.
Handicraft and women social entrepreneurship in Calarasi region, Moldova, 2018-2019
Rural Entrepreneurship in Tajikistan (2014-2016). Project focused on preservation of Pamir handicraft and art traditions, encouraging women entrepreneurship and improving gender equality. .
