Peipsi Center for Transboundary Cooperation has recently launched a new development cooperation project
aiming to raise Moldovan and Ukrainian water management expert’s
capacity to effectively promote cooperation on border area water bodies,
also increase public awareness about Dniester river environmental
condition and –problems.
From 9-10 March international seminar on Dniester river transboundary water management planning takes place, where Peipsi CTC senior expert Gulnara Roll introduces Estonian experience in transboundary water management. Seminar is organized in cooperation with Moldovan NGO Eco Tiras- International Environmental Association of River Keepers.
Project is supported by Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will take place November 2008 – December 2009.
